On 13-14 July 2021, Yerbolat Yerkebulanov (partner of GRATA Kazakhstan) held a corporate webinar titled Legal Support for Construction in the Oil and Gas Sector, organized by GSS Training Center.

During the webinar the following issues were analyzed together with 22 participants: latest changes to principal regulatory documents for construction, planned amendments to construction legislation with comments from the legislator and the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs, the concept of transition to Eurocodes and the current situation, court resolutions related to criminal, administrative and civil liability of construction participants, ways to reduce the degree of uncertainty in situations where regulatory provisions allow for ambiguous interpretation, issues of certification of white collar workers and engineering services experts, including solution of test questions, mandatory requirements for construction contracts, issues of local content in subsoil users’ procurement, including solution of practical tasks, as well as key points in inspections carried out by the architectural and construction supervision authority.
